Habitat for Humanity 3-14-2015

WPPC is helping build a house for Habitat for Humanity each Saturday during the month of March this year. Today we took a few minutes off from the job to recognize and award our own Mary Beardall for the many years she has supported and participated in Habitat for Humanity here in Winter Park - Maitland as well as other venues. Hal George, the president of Habitat, presented Mary with a well-deserved plaque honoring her service. Additionally, Sue Rudolph honored her with a plaque on behalf of Winter Park Presbyterian Church. The family who will make the house their home also worked along side of everyone and posed for a photo when today's tasks were completed. It was a beautiful day, everyone worked hard, had fun and enjoyed a delicious lunch afterwards before packing-up and going home. Back again next weekend . . . :>)
